Attendance at the entire meeting may be necessary to ensure interested parties hear a particular item. The City values and invites written comments from residents on matters set for Planning Commission consideration. In order to provide commissioners ample time to review all correspondence, any written communication must be submitted to the City Clerk’s office before 5:00 p.m. on the Tuesday prior to the meeting. Any written materials submitted to the Planning Commission are public record under the Public Records Act.

(6:15 PM) File No. PL1900398, MSCP-2021-002: Request for a new Sign Program and Minor Scenic Corridor Permit for The Courtyard at the Commons shopping center located at 23741 Calabasas Rd (APN: 2068-002-024 and APN: 2068-002-025) within the Commercial Mixed Use (CMU) zoning district and Scenic Corridor (-SC) overlay zone. The project is exempt from environmental review in accordance with Section 15301 (e)(2) (Existing Facilities) of the California CEQA Guidelines.

3. (6:45 PM) An ordinance to amend Section 17.90.020 of the City of Calabasas Land Use and Development Code pursuant to Calabasas Municipal Code Chapter 17.76 to modify the definitions of permeable paving and pervious surface. The proposed amendment is categorically exempt from environmental review in accordance with section 15061(b)(3) of the CEQA Guidelines, General Rule that CEQA applies only to projects which have the potential for causing a significant effect on the environment.  The proposed amendment will not result in additional development opportunities or any foreseeable environmental impact.  Furthermore, this project is exempt under CEQA Guidelines sections 15183 and 15308.

Adjournment to the special meeting of the Planning Commission on September 13, 2021 at 6:00 P.M.

Any legal action by an applicant, appellant, or other person, seeking to obtain judicial review of any Planning Commission decisions may be subject to the 90-day filing period of, and governed by, Code of Civil Procedure sections 1094.5 and 1094.6.
