The City is no longer accepting applications for the Calabasas Open Small Business Grant Program. We have started sending out Notice of Grant Awards via email, which will be followed by mailing grant award checks to businesses within the next two weeks. Please continue to visit this page for program updates. You may direct any questions related to the Calabasas Open Grant Program to: CalabasasOpen@CityofCalabasas.com.

The Calabasas Open Small Business Grant Program will provide one-time emergency grants to eligible Calabasas based small businesses to assist with COVID-19 reopening costs. The current approved appropriation amount for the second phase is $101,481, with each eligible business receiving a grant up to $10,000. The final award amount may be less and is dependent upon the number of grants approved for the Program’s second phase.

The goal of the Program is to remove barriers to accessing capital for the City’s small businesses that were required to close, or partially close, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Providing these much needed funds to the City’s small businesses allows stores to reopen as soon as possible, while also stimulating the local economy.
