Look Ahead Schedule

 

Project Description:

Demolition and excavation work, new pavement installation, installation of a new traffic signal detector loop, new signing installation and existing signing relocation/removals, striping modifications, construction of concrete curb, sidewalks, ADA ramps, driveways, retaining walls, guard rail, cable railing, service pedestal relocation, utility and pullbox adjustments, traffic control and cleanup of the project area.

March 18, 2022
Starting at 9:00 p.m. Southern California Edison (SCE) will be working on Old Topanga Canyon Road installing new support anchors and removing the guy stub pole. The work is expected to be completed no later than 5:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 19th. There will be short duration travel lane closures and traffic disruptions. Traffic control with flaggers will be provided by SCE.

July 6, 2021
The contractor for the Mulholland Gap Closure project will be installing construction zone traffic striping on Mulholland Hwy and Old Topanga Canyon Road tonight. The work will begin at 7 PM. This work will be followed by installation of K-rails and start of demolition on Thursday. 

June 30, 2021
The contactor for the Mulholland Hwy Gap Closure project will start installation of traffic control on July 1st. Guardrail removal and placement of temporary paving on Old Topanga Canyon Road across from the shopping center will take place on Thursday. Installation of K-rail for safety and travel lane delineation will start on Friday and continue next week. Old Topanga Canyon Road and Mulholland Highway will be restriped per the approved traffic control plan next Tuesday at night to avoid interruption of traffic.
