PAPER:

RECYCLE 
Newspaper, including inserts
Phone books
Corrugated cardboard
Other papers, including junk mail, window envelopes, white or colored paper, scrap, advertisements, paper bags
Food/detergent boxes
Other cardboard boxes
Office paper/computer paper
Magazines, catalogs
Paperback books, overnight mail packages, etc.

DO NOT RECYCLE
Blueprints/carbon paper
Metallic or plastic coated paper
Tissue/toilet paper, paper plates, napkins, cups, towels
No boxes or paper contaminated by more than 3% food or grease

PLASTICS:

RECYCLE
All plastic bottles coded 1-7
Beverage containers
One or two liter bottles
Salad dressing bottles
Milk and water jugs
Detergent/cleaning bottles

DO NOT RECYCLE
Polystyrene, commonly known as "Styrofoam"

CANS/METAL/ALUMINUM:

RECYCLE
Aluminum beverage cans
Steel/tin food and beverage cans
Aerosol non-hazardous cans, EMPTY (whipped cream, cooking oils, etc.)
Clean aluminum foil, foil food trays
Other scrap aluminum

DO NOT RECYCLE
Hazardous aerosol cans (spray paint, bug spray, etc.) and other hazardous waste (paint, chemicals, pesticides)

GLASS CONTAINERS:

RECYCLE
Juice, soda, water bottles
Beer, wine, liquor bottles
Food jars
CA redemption bottles

DO NOT RECYCLE
Drinking glasses, ceramics, crystal, mirrors, window glass, light bulbs
