FULL TIME STAFF

Jennifer Hernandez, Facility Supervisor

Jennifer is in charge of programming for the Calabasas Senior Center, including class and instructor selection and schedule creation for the senior portion of the Calabasas recreation brochure. She also coordinates many of our center’s events/socials. Jennifer joins us from Juan Bautista De Anza Park and has been with the City of Calabasas Community Service Department since 2009. 

Xcaret Osorio, Recreation Coordinator

Xcaret is in charge of marketing for the Calabasas Senior Center. She creates the flyers, newsletters, Newest News emails, digital signage, and weekly schedules. She also assists with the events/socials. In addition, she coordinates the Community Services Department brochure. Xcaret previously worked in recreation for 6 years, gaining knowledge and experience in various programs. She then moved on to hold positions where she focused on marketing, networking, and event planning.

PART TIME STAFF

Stacy Daughtery

Stacy has been a staff member at the front desk since the CSC opened in 2016. She specializes in coordinating all aspects of the many excursions throughout the year, including serving as the leader on all bus trips. She also handles insurance for Center classes. Born in California, Stacy graduated from CSUN with a major in business. She worked for 25 years in banking at several financial institutions, in every capacity from bank teller to bank manager.

Sasha Davtyan-Lagoy

Sasha has been working at the front desk since May, 2019. Not new to the City, she has been employed at the Agoura Hills Calabasas Community Center since 2016. Born in Armenia, Sasha has an undergraduate degree in International Relations and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration. On her free time she enjoys hiking, playing pickleball, visiting with friends and going to museums. Sasha is a humanitarian, and enjoys working with public.

Shari Gillis

Shari joined the CSC staff in June, 2023.  She graduated from UCLA with a degree in Sociology, and more recently received a degree as a Dietetic Technician.  Shari has served the Calabasas community in many volunteer positions, such as Relay For Life and PFC President at Calabasas High School.  She loves working at the CSC front desk helping seniors.  You can also find Shari leading our Walk With Ease class.

Kim Glazer

Kim provides information on programs and services at the front desk of the Calabasas Senior Center. She assists customers with enrollment and registration. She has a Bachelors Degree in Communications and is a certified coach for the American Diabetes Association.

Michelle Hiller 

Recent addition to the CSC, Michelle joined the team late September 2023. Michelle’s work history in Marketing, Sales, and Education enable her to comfortably connect with staff and participants. In addition to greeting you with a smile, Michelle assists with all front desk duties, drafting and editing CSC documents and communications; and training.

Lois Julien

Lois began working as a staff member when the CSC opened in July 2016. Originally from Chicago, she has a background in public relations for national and local non-profit organizations, specializing in writing press releases, articles and newsletters. She has also worked at NBC4 Los Angeles handling press and publicity in the newsroom and producing a weekly consumer program. She writes and produces the monthly CSC Newsletter, contributes to the City eNews, and serves on the Advisory Board. Lois has lived in Calabasas for 42 years.

Valerie Siegel

Valerie is a staff member at the bustling CSC front desk, helping with registration, navigating calls, and assisting seniors throughout the day.  Valerie was born and raised in Los Angeles and graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology.  She has worked in advertising as a Broadcast Media Buyer/Supervisor, an Educational Tutor at Bay Laurel Elementary School and Round Meadow Elementary School in Calabasas, and has resided in beautiful Calabasas for 27 years. 

Na’Kia Smith

Na’Kia has been a staff member at CSC since the beginning of 2023. She is a recent college graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. She is currently pursuing a career in becoming a PGA professional, while working part time as a junior golf coach. Na’Kia assists with front desk duties such as processing registrations, phone calls, and assisting the seniors through out the day.  

Rick Young

Rick has been a volunteer and staff member since the CSC opened in 2016. He excels at soliciting donations from local businesses and bakeries, resulting in beautiful flowers and delicious desserts for our patrons at the CSC as well as for special socials and events. Rick serves on the Programming, Hospitality and Steering Committees. He was born and raised in Los Angeles, has been a business owner, Temple Kol Tikvah President, and has resided in Calabasas for 25 years.
