Depending on the complexity of your project and the completeness of your plans and adherence to code, the Plans Examiner may be able to conduct your plan review over the counter, by appointment only.

If the project is too complex, then it will be placed in our 5-15 day behind-the-counter review process. Below is a list of the permits we can process over-the-counter on most occasions.

• Masonry Garden Walls (after Planning approval has been received)
• Re-roofs
• New Exterior Siding
• Residential electrical panel upgrades (under 399 Amps)
• Minor Plumbing and/or Mechanical Repairs or Replacements
• Minor Fire & Water damage repairs
• Replace windows & doors (residential only – like for like)
• Sewer repair/replacement
• Water Main
• Copper Re-pipe
