WATER DISTRICT TO REPLACE AGING CALABASAS IRRIGATION PIPES

The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District (LVMWD) will be repairing a series of aging water pipes in the City.  According to the district, “Many of the pipes were installed in the 1970s and 1980s, and certain areas within the system have had a higher frequency of failures due to the age and deteriorating condition of the pipe”.

There have been a considerable number of failures, leaks or breaks along Park Entrada.  So this is a much needed upgrade to our infrastructure.

Construction will take place primarily along Park Entrada between Palermo Drive and Parkway Calabasas, and is anticipated to start in September 2024, scheduled to be completed by January 2025. Work will take place during daytime hours on weekdays only, excluding holidays, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
