BIKE LANE STRIPING PROJECT

Construction is expected to begin in November for a new bike lane and the City’s first green conflict striping.  Green conflict striping will be installed in areas where vehicles and bicyclists may cross each other. Green striping increases visibility of bicycle facilities along roadways and encourages active transportation.  The new bike lane will be installed on northbound Lost Hills Road between Malibu Hills Road and Canwood Street and includes the addition of a right turn pocket onto Agoura Road.  Conflict striping will be added to the existing bike lanes on Las Virgenes Road between Parkmor Road and U.S. 101 and on Park Capri.
