We will begin with a short 10-minute presentation at the gazebo before beginning the walking portion of the tour along the Las Virgenes Trail to Agoura Road (1.5 miles one-way) where the tour will conclude. A City Shuttle will be provided at Agoura Road for those not wishing to walk back.

BIKE LANE STRIPING PROJECT
Construction is expected to begin in November for a new bike lane and the City’s first green conflict striping. Green conflict striping will be installed in areas where vehicles and bicyclists may cross each other. Green striping increases visibility of bicycle facilities along roadways and encourages active transportation. The new bike lane will be installed on northbound Lost Hills Road between Malibu Hills Road and Canwood Street and includes the addition of a right turn pocket onto Agoura Road. Conflict striping will be added to the existing bike lanes on Las Virgenes Road between Parkmor Road and U.S. 101 and on Park Capri.

The City of Calabasas began a weekend pilot program for microtransit (a public on-demand ride-sharing service) in February 2023 and we’d like to know how we’re doing. The City is looking to understand how passengers want to use the program to promote public transit within the City.
You can find the survey here and learn more about the program on the City’s Demand Response Weekend Service Webpage. Responses will be accepted until Saturday, November 30th.
