We are watching two films in honor of Veterans' Day.

This drama is based on the true events about a young Marine and a combat dog named Rex.

Up in Arms (1944)
Not rated and 106 minutes

This comedy is about hypochondriac Danny who gets drafted into the army and makes life miserable for his fellow GIs. He's also lovesick with Mary, unaware that she's in love with his best friend Joe.

Both films are on the Library streaming video platform Kanopy.  Megan Leavey is also on Hulu.  Up in Arms is also on Amazon Prime.
