About the film - One hundred years after the passage of the 19th Amendment, The Vote tells the dramatic culmination story of the hard-fought campaign waged by American women for the right to vote — a transformative cultural and political movement that resulted in the largest expansion of voting rights in U.S. history.
Also, in honor of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, the documentary RBG is on the Library's streaming service Kanopy and we will be discussing this, as well. It is also available on Hulu and Hoopla. (Hoopla can be used through the Los Angeles Public Library System.)
For any questions, need help with Kanopy and receive the Zoom meeting link, please email Karilyn Steward at ksteward@calabasaslibrary.org.
