Join author Carmen Evelyn G. Nuyda for an engaging exploration into the life and legacy of Elizabeth Keckley, the talented couturier who revolutionized American fashion and made Mary Todd Lincoln one of the most stylish women in American history.  Delve into the fascinating intersection of genealogy and history as we uncover the remarkable story of this often-overlooked figure.  The book LIZZY: The Elizabeth Keckley Story, from bondage to becoming America's first couturier seen through the eyes of a self-taught dressmaker will be available for purchase and signed by the author at the event.
