Tuesday, July 9th at 5:30 p.m. – DIY Craft Event for Adults – Bad Art Night

Bring your creativity and a variety of craft supplies will be available to create a terrible, wonderful art piece.  Then at the end of the evening, there will be an art show with a prize to the Best Worst Art.

Thursday, July 11th at 5:30pm – Calabasas Stories – Exploring our History 

Strap yourself into a time machine as the Calabasas Library's archivist/historian Brian Rooney takes us into the past with many intriguing photos and tidbits. See Calabasas grow from a sleepy dirt street community to a modern city.

Wednesday, July 17th at 6pm - Online Film Fanatics 

Marc Wanamaker will be speaking on Zoom about movie history, especially the local area.  He is an historical author, writing on early Los Angeles and Hollywood. He is the founder of Bison Archives, which manages research on the motion picture industry.

Join author Carmen Evelyn G. Nuyda for an engaging exploration into the life and legacy of Elizabeth Keckley, the talented couturier who revolutionized American fashion and made Mary Todd Lincoln one of the most stylish women in American history.  Delve into the fascinating intersection of genealogy and history as we uncover the remarkable story of this often-overlooked figure.  The book LIZZY: The Elizabeth Keckley Story, from bondage to becoming America's first couturier seen through the eyes of a self-taught dressmaker will be available for purchase and signed by the author at the event.
