The West Calabasas
Road improvement project will re-design the Parkway Calabasas/US
101 southbound interchange for greater traffic flow and safety by
adding a protected left turn phase, pedestrian improvements, a
bypass lane and bike lanes. Additionally, this project will widen
Calabasas Road west of the US 101/Parkway Calabasas interchange from
two to four lanes.
The project currently
is in a design phase. Staff is investigating construction of a
retaining wall and working on an encroachment permit application for
work in the Caltrans right of way. |
