Volvo of Calabasas is
working with the City in an effort to improve the roadway directly
in front of their business. This project will help fortify the
City's image and maintain the vision and design standards
established in the West Calabasas Road Planning Guidelines. Staff
has been reworking the final design for the past few months. The
final improvements include the following elements:
• Sidewalk
extensions,
• Crosswalk installation,
• Two landscaped medians,
• Dual left turn from Calabasas Rd. to US101 SB ramps,
• Roadway restriping, and
• Traffic signal modifications.
These improvements are
essential to ensure pedestrian safety in the area and to accommodate
existing and future traffic volumes along this corridor. |
