We are open for business Monday through Thursday 7:30 a.m.
to 5:30 p.m. and Friday
7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Public Counter hours are the same, except for Friday
7:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Calabasas is located between the City of Agoura Hills and
the unincorporated area of Los Angeles County known as Woodland Hills.
Directions from the East (San Fernando
Valley)
Traveling northbound on Highway 101 exit Las Virgenes Road and turn right. Go to the first
traffic signal (Mureau Road) and turn right. We are located at the first driveway on the
left.
Directions from the West (Ventura County)
Traveling southbound on Highway 101 exit Las Virgenes Road and turn left. Pass the
freeway, go to the first street (Mureau Road) and turn right. Turn left into
the first driveway, stroll in and say, "Hey!!"

Where do I get information on
recreational and educational classes? |

The staff of the Parks and Recreation Division of the
Community Services Department is located at
Juan Bautista de Anza Park and can be reached at 818-880-6461 or stop by the facility located at 3401 Lost Hills Road.

obtain a business license or get info. about an existing
business in the City? |

The City of Calabasas does not require businesses
to obtain a City business license. All inquiries are referred to the Los Angeles County
Business Licensing Bureau at (213) 974-2011. Licensing information about an existing
business in the City can be obtained by contacting Joe Dangerfield at (213) 893-7995.

get a marriage license? A passport? |

The City does not issue marriage licenses or
passports. Marriage Licenses can be obtained at 14340 West Sylvan St., Van
Nuys, (818) 374-7176 from 8:30am to 4:30pm Monday thru Friday. For more
information about marriage licenses call (562)462-2137 or visit the
Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County
Clerk web site. Inquiries on how to obtain a passport are directed to call
the Reseda Post Office at (818) 342-5983. |

When and
where are the City Council meetings held? |

The City Council regularly meets each month on the
first and third Wednesdays at 7:30 p.m. in the Calabasas City Hall Council Chambers, 26135
Mureau Road, Calabasas. As an added convenience, meetings are cablecast live and video
taped for rebroadcast the following day at noon and again the following
Saturday at 10:00 a.m. on the City’s Cable Channel (CTV 3).

26600 Agoura Road, Calabasas. A quick note: When the City of Calabasas was incorporated
in April, 1991, certain areas were not annexed or included in its boundaries. Such areas
include Stokes Canyon, Monte Nido and Mountain View Estates and are serviced by the County
of Los Angeles.

do I go to take care of a speeding ticket? |

Calabasas is part of the Los Angeles County
Municipal Court system which is not within the jurisdiction of Calabasas City
Hall. Inquiries about small claims, moving violations, "fix-it tickets" and
civil and criminal matters should be made directly to the Superior Court in Van
Nuys (L.A. County and Calabasas north of Mulholland) at 818-374-2208 or Los
Angeles County Municipal Court in Malibu (Calabasas Highlands, Old Topanga &
Malibu) at 310-317-1331. |
