Maps, Atlases and Posters from the CHS Collection

the Calabasas Historical Society (CHS)

There are over 75 maps, atlases and posters in the collection
and we will bring many examples for viewing at this talk.
Included will be a full-color bird's eye-view map of Los Angeles
in 1871, a "Motor Relief Map of Southern California" issued by
the San Fernando Branch, Pacific Southwest Trust and Savings
Bank in 1923, an early map of the valley shortly after the
opening of the Owens Valley Aqueduct and the San Fernando Plat
Book from 1952.
