College Admissions Advice

Stephen Burleigh of College Pathways will be at the library to
answer and speak about all things “College”
The info is for
parents and interested teens, college bound 11th and 12th
graders. Interested 10th graders are welcome, too.
Stephen will cover admission basics of the
California system (UC & CSU's), the differences between the two
systems, private institution admissions, selective admissions, essay
and personal statement basics, application deadlines, an overview of
financial aid, and a few other issues that often come up.
There will be a question and answer period after his
presentation.
All attending will receive
one free DVD published by Stephen entitled,
Admission Zen: The Stress
Free Path to Getting into College.
The DVD is sold on Amazon
and has been distributed to schools and libraries across the U.S.
The event is free
and refreshments will be served.
