Yaroslavsky discusses his role
are a member of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors,
representing District 3, which includes the cities of Calabasas,
Agoura Hills, Hidden Hills, as well as the San Fernando Valley, the
Westside of Los Angeles and coastal areas between Venice and the
Ventura County line.
A population of over 1.9 million
residents, covering an area of about 431 square miles.
He was first elected to the board in 1994. Yaroslavsky served on the
Los Angeles City Council from 1975 to 1994.
He discusses his past and present roles in the areas of
transportation, the environment, health care and cultural affairs.

also touches on his future plans and goals after his term limit in
