Jim Harlan

Author Jim Harlan, discussing his book, Drifting On A Headwind with Karyn Foley at the Calabasas Library.

Jim Harlan author, explorer, and adventure travel expert talks about his book Drifting on a Headwind with details of his travels to remote corners of the world.

Young, curious and wanting to explore the road ahead, Jim set on a world adventure that would change his life forever.  His stories are both amazing and at times hair-raising; recovering sunken cannons from the Caribbean Sea off Belize,  surviving a plain crash in Costa Rica, lost in Northern Thailand jungles, being arrested by the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia, surviving animal attacks in the Serengeti, left at sea drifting for 24-hours and much more.  Amazing stories, amazing man, amazing book!
