Resolution of the City Council of the City of Calabasas, California
in support of the Fix Gun
Checks Act and calling on the federal government to reduce
gun violence in America and help prevent future mass shootings
through passage of: the Fix Gun Checks Act, which would require a
background check for every gun sale and ensure that all criminals
and other dangerous people who are prohibited from buying a gun are
listed in the national instant criminal background check system; as
well as legislation that would keep military-style weapons and
high-capacity magazines off our streets and out of our schools.

member; Alex Soteras, long-time resident; and J. Grant Gerson,
Calamigos Ranch founder to their next regular meeting scheduled on
Wednesday, January 23, 2013 at 7:00 p.m.
